Overview
Provide direct patient care in the Observation unit at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, FL. You will independently manage a group of patients using the nursing process and clinical standards, while delegating tasks to the care team. This night-shift role (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) demands strong critical thinking and clinical skills, with every other weekend rotation.
What You'll Do7
- 1Independently care for a group of patients using the nursing process and clinical standards.
- 2Delegate appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
- 3Perform the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

- 7Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in the electronic health record.
Requirements8
- 1BLS certification is required.
- 2RN license is required.
- 3ACLS certification, if required by department.
- 4Nurse specialty certification is preferred.
- 5Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required.
- 6Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred.
- 72 years of RN experience is required.
- 8Interpersonal skills, critical thinking skills, and clinical skills appropriate to position.
