RMX Plant Mechanic (Conveyor Belt) oversees all plant repair responsibilities including conveyor systems electrical plumbing pneumatics and welding. What You'll Do11
- 1Utilize all tools safely following manufacturer specifications and company policy
- 2Service repair and maintain equipment per lock-out tag-out standards and safety protocols
- 3Schedule plant and equipment maintenance aligning with supervisor priorities
- 4Adhere to shift rotations including 1st 2nd or 3rd shifts and overtime weekend availability
- 5Carry company cell phone for business communication and respond to scheduling needs
- 6Complete daily logs plant repair requests and job hazard analyses
- 7Maintain permits and safety documentation ensuring timely corrective actions
- 8Operate crane hydraulic equipment and specialized tools within manufacturer safety limits
- 9Follow daily check-in procedures with supervisors and report progress regularly
- 10Wear required personal protective equipment while performing duties
- 11Troubleshoot control circuits and replace electric motors components as needed
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or GED trade school certification
- 2One year related experience or equivalent education and training
- 3Qualified experienced welder passing a physical welding exam
- 4Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic equipment functions and troubleshooting
- 5Familiarity with conveyors belts gearboxes and drives
- 6Electrical experience with 120V to 460V three-phase systems
- 7Ability to troubleshoot control circuits and change electric motors and components
- 8Data entry skills including work order entry and email communication
- 9Physical ability to lift 50-100 pounds occasionally and 25-50 pounds frequently
- 10Commitment to perform all job functions including controlling and pulling equipment
