Revit Modeler, Mechanical at SSOE Tool Install
Overview
Own and maintain mechanical Revit models for semiconductor fab and advanced manufacturing clients at a North Phoenix facility. Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers across multi discipline sessions and clash coordination in Navisworks. Learn SSOE design processes including QA/QC, annotation audits, and change control while leveraging AI tools to boost productivity. This role blends modeling, design support, and field coordination to deliver coordinated, issuance ready packages.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build and refine Revit families templates view templates and shared parameters to accelerate tool install modeling
- 2Maintain work sets linked models coordinates and file naming so federated models assemble cleanly at each milestone
- 3Run clash detection in Navisworks prepare issue logs track resolution and report progress to PMs and engineer of record
- 4Participate in BIM kick offs and multi discipline coordination sessions with architecture structural electrical process and controls teams
- 5Perform self checks and support QA QC reviews verifying model completeness annotation accuracy and consistency between model specifications and engineering calculations
Requirements5
- 1Associate degree or technical certificate in mechanical HVAC design drafting engineering technology or related field or bachelor in mechanical engineering or engineering technology
- 2Working knowledge of Revit for mechanical modeling including families work sets and linked models
- 3Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud or BIM 360
- 4Exposure to Dynamo or Python scripting for Revit automation is a plus
- 5Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings schematics specifications and equipment cut sheets
