BIM Modeler (Electrical) - System One Phoenix
Overview
We seek a motivated Electrical BIM Modeler to join our Phoenix team. This full-time position offers DOE compensation based on experience for an early-career professional with six months of BIM modeling background. The ideal candidate will develop skills while creating clash-free designs for commercial industrial and mission-critical projects. This role provides unique exposure to diverse electrical construction environments.
What You'll Do8
- 1Develop and maintain accurate 3D electrical BIM models using Revit
- 2Model conduit cable trays lighting power distribution equipment layouts
- 3Participate in BIM coordination meetings resolving trade clashes
- 4Produce installation and fabrication drawings from BIM models
- 5Coordinate with engineers project managers field personnel to ensure constructible designs
- 6Update models throughout project lifecycle reflecting design revisions
- 7Follow company BIM standards project specifications quality requirements
- 8Assist with model documentation project deliverables
Requirements11
- 1Minimum six months BIM modeling experience preferably in electrical construction or MEP
- 2Proficiency with Autodesk Revit
- 3Familiarity with AutoCAD and Navisworks as a plus
- 4Basic understanding of electrical construction methods systems
- 5Ability to read construction drawings electrical plans
- 6Strong attention to detail organizational skills
- 7Excellent communication teamwork abilities
- 8Associate degree technical certificate or equivalent experience in BIM drafting engineering technology related fields
- 9Experience with commercial industrial or data center projects
- 10Knowledge of BIM 360 Autodesk Construction Cloud
- 11Exposure to clash detection model coordination
