Revenue Cycle Associate, Healthcare Billing
Overview
Own the daily lockbox correspondence for Advocare's Revenue Cycle Management Department, reconciling payments and routing them to patient accounts at scale across Philadelphia and remote sites. You will support a team of RCM specialists and managers, ensuring accurate handoffs to eCW-RCM and maintaining records. What You'll Do7
- 1Reconcile daily lockbox correspondence and match it to patient accounts using Microsoft Excel and PDF editing tools like Adobe and Foxit.
- 2Route correspondence to the appropriate RCM team and attach documentation to patient records in eCW-RCM.
- 3Ensure timely handoff of correspondence to Advocare RCM and eCW-RCM teams, meeting daily deadlines.
- 4Maintain departmental files, reports, and records, verifying accuracy with Outlook and Word.
- 5Monitor assigned work queues and follow up on unresolved items to close gaps in the first 90 days.
- 6Communicate system and site issues to the RCM Manager within the same day, using Excel trackers to log issues.
- 7Assist with departmental projects to improve workflows and reduce costs by 10%.
Requirements8
- 1High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
- 21+ years in administrative support or office operations.
- 3Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- 4Experience with PDF editing software such as Adobe or Foxit.
- 5Prior experience in healthcare or physician billing is preferred.
- 6Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and sound judgment.
