What You'll Do10
- 1Build a high performing retail team by coaching and training direct reports
- 2Direct store operations to ensure exceptional customer service across donors, shoppers, and partners
- 3Oversee inventory levels and merchandise presentation to maximize revenue
- 4Monitor donations flow, safety, and compliance with standards and laws
- 5Administer bookkeeping and reporting, including timekeeping and sales analytics
- 6Maintain effective communication with staff and stakeholders
- 7Respond to competitive conditions and adjust strategies
- 8Ensure safety, security, and loss prevention are enforced
- 9Participate in special projects and organizational initiatives
- 10Perform additional duties as assigned to support store success
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or equivalent plus 3-5 years of management experience in retail or a similar environment
- 2Proven leadership ability and good judgment in service-oriented settings
- 3Clear English communication skills, both written and verbal
- 4Basic math and computer skills including spreadsheets and POS systems
- 5Personal vehicle for cash deposits
- 6Willingness to work flexible days and hours to meet seven-day operation demands
- 7Strong ability to inspire and develop team members to deliver exceptional customer service
- 8Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is a plus
- 9Experience in working with disabled or disadvantaged populations is preferred
- 10Fluency in a language other than English is a plus
