Retail Store Associate
Overview
Studio Sales Associate who creates an exceptional piercing and shopping experience for customers in a genuine and enthusiastic manner while supporting weekend operations. This hourly non-exempt position reports to the Studio Manager.
What You'll Do13
- 1Warmly greet and welcome customers to create a celebratory environment
- 2Check customers in or assist with appointment booking using POS technology
- 3Help customers select and style piercing and hypoallergenic non-piercing jewelry
- 4Answer customer questions about piercing procedures aftercare and product details
- 5Promote and upsell Rowan’s products including non-piercing jewelry aftercare kits and related items
- 6Maintain studio cleanliness organization and stock supplies including jewelry and cleaning products
- 7Follow health and safety regulations especially regarding piercing procedures and hygiene
- 8Assist managers with receiving restocking pricing displaying and cleaning inventory daily
- 9Collaborate with Studio Manager and Studio Nurse Piercers to ensure seamless service
- 10Participate in team meetings and training sessions to improve skills and product knowledge
- 11Process transactions accurately including sales returns and exchanges
- 12Conduct regular stock checks and replenish displays as part of administrative duties
- 13Maintain accurate customer records including consent forms and aftercare instructions
Requirements9
- 1Retail or service industry experience is a plus
- 2Ability to work weekends nights and holidays
- 3Independent thinker with a can do attitude
- 4Passion for jewelry and helping customers choose earrings
- 5Strong communication skills and basic math abilities
- 6Physical stamina to climb ladders bend lift push and reach above and below waist
- 7Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- 8Commitment to stand for full eight hour shifts
- 9Willingness to provide reasonable accommodations if needed
Salary Insight
$33 - $40k per year
