Retail Merchandiser, Walmart Coverage & Store Relationships
Overview
Own store-level merchandising for Walmart clients at Acosta across Phoenix and surrounding locations. Drive product availability and display execution to connect customers with leading brands in one of the world’s largest retailers. Represent Acosta to store management and collaborate with Walmart staff to complete tasks and report results. This role offers independent work with a nationwide support network and exposure to multiple brands and categories.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build in-store displays and stock shelves to improve product visibility and availability
- 2Ship and place coupons and signage materials in-store to drive promotion performance
- 3Own store visits and photos to demonstrate task completion and impact within 24 hours
- 4Collaborate with Walmart store management and associates to execute planograms and merchandising updates
- 5Report work daily and maintain accurate data and photos following provided instructions
- 6Communicate with direct manager via email, phone, and text to address challenges and opportunities
- 7Collaborate with Acosta and Walmart teams to share best practices and improve outcomes
- 8Navigate multiple applications on a company-issued mobile device while in-store
- 9Maintain independent work cadence while upholding Acosta and Walmart brand standards
- 10Ensure compliant and timely completion of assigned store tasks within scheduled windows
Requirements10
- 1Minimum 18 years of age or older
- 2Access to reliable transportation for daily travel between locations
- 3Ability to start between 6am and 9am and work 6am to 6pm with flexible scheduling
- 4Comfort with using a mobile device to complete tasks and capture data and photos
- 5Willingness to engage with store management and associates and represent Acosta respectfully
- 6Ability to follow detailed instructions and report work the same day
- 7Capacity to work Sunday through Saturday with at least 5 days a week for full-time or 2-4 days for part-time
- 8No-copay telemedicine health plan options offered
- 9Must be able to lift and move merchandise as part of daily merchandising tasks
- 10Proactive communication to coordinate with managers and teams
