Overview
Sun Tan City seeks a Retail Manager in Training to drive store performance and deliver exceptional client service at our Nashville Charlotte Pike location. You will lead a team of Tanning Consultants, managing daily operations, sales, and inventory to meet productivity goals. What You'll Do9
- 1Monitor daily salon operations to ensure smooth workflow and client satisfaction.
- 2Lead by example in sales and service, creating a client-centric experience.
- 3Set clear goals for team members and hold them accountable for results.
- 4Coach and mentor Tanning Consultants to improve performance and skills.
- 5Generate sales reports and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts.
- 6Assist the Salon Director in controlling revenue and expenses.
- 7Maintain proper staffing levels to maximize productivity while controlling labor costs.
- 8Keep the salon clean and professional, including cleaning tanning equipment.
- 9Work nights and weekends, and commit to a 5-day workweek of 35-45 hours.
Requirements8
- 1Management and/or sales experience required.
- 2Beauty industry or customer service experience preferred.
- 3Basic computer skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- 4Ability to manage multiple situations simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- 5Knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices.
- 6Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor.
- 7Problem-solving and organizational/planning skills.
- 8Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, and lift heavy boxes.
