As a Retail Sales Associate at Sun Tan City, you'll own the client experience at our Murfreesboro Northfield salon, earning up to $15.00/hr with base pay plus performance bonuses. What You'll Do9
- 1Greet every client as they enter, building rapport to understand their tanning and wellness goals.
- 2Recommend products and services that match client needs, aiming to exceed the minimum sales targets.
- 3Operate the POS system to process transactions, manage memberships, and handle daily cash reconciliation.
- 4Clean tanning beds and salon areas between clients, maintaining hygiene standards that keep clients returning.
- 5Restock retail shelves and tanning supplies, ensuring product visibility and availability.
- 6Answer phone calls, book appointments, and respond to client inquiries with professionalism.
- 7Support teammates during peak hours, covering front desk duties and salon cleaning as needed.
- 8Uphold all company policies and safety procedures, contributing to a compliant and welcoming salon.
- 9Complete opening or closing checklists, locking up and securing the salon when alone on shift.
Requirements8
- 1No prior experience required; we train you on our products and sales techniques.
- 2Basic computer skills to navigate the POS and scheduling software.
- 3Ability to stand and walk for 8+ hours per shift, bending at the waist to clean equipment.
- 4Comfort lifting up to 25 pounds (boxes, supplies) and performing cleaning tasks like mopping and dusting.
- 5Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictate.
- 6Reliable transportation to the Murfreesboro Northfield location.
- 7High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
- 8Must be 18 years or older to apply.
