Restorative Nursing Assistant, Skilled Nursing
Overview
As a Restorative Nursing Assistant at Lake Merritt Healthcare Center, you will own restorative care for residents in a skilled nursing facility, using CNA and CPR certifications. You will work weekends on the AM shift, supporting a team of nurses and CNAs to reduce hospitalizations. What You'll Do8
- 1Operate restorative equipment safely to maintain resident mobility and function.
- 2Apply infection control protocols during all patient and resident care.
- 3Observe residents and report changes in condition to the nursing team.
- 4Prioritize daily activities based on each resident's current care needs.
- 5Maintain documentation per Federal and State regulations and company policy.
- 6Adhere to safety procedures, wear required equipment, and report hazards.
- 7Participate in restorative meetings to review resident progress.
- 8Assist CNAs with CNA duties as directed by the supervisor.
Requirements7
- 1Completion of Certified Restorative training course.
- 2Valid CNA license and CPR certification.
- 3New graduates are welcome.
- 4Previous experience in a skilled nursing environment is desirable.
- 5Caring, team-oriented personality with a customer service focus.
- 6Ability to multitask and stay organized in daily duties.
- 7Flexibility and adaptability to change.
Salary Insight
$25 - $27k per year
