Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Skilled Nursing
Overview
You will own resident care delivery at a skilled nursing facility in San Jose, California. You will work on-call across all shifts, supporting a team of CNAs and nurses. You will apply CPR and CNA training to monitor patient conditions and document care per state and federal regulations. This role accepts new grads and offers tuition assistance plus 401K for full-time employees.
What You'll Do7
- 1Use CNA skills to perform patient care and operate equipment safely.
- 2Apply infection control techniques to prevent the spread of illness.
- 3Observe residents and report signs or symptoms of changing conditions to the nursing team.
- 4Prioritize daily care activities based on each resident's current needs.
- 5Maintain documentation for all care provided, following state and federal regulations.
- 6Wear required safety gear and report hazards or accidents to your supervisor.
- 7Collaborate with the care team to share knowledge and support a family-oriented environment.
Requirements6
- 1Valid CNA license in California and CPR certification (or proof of pending renewal).
- 2New grads welcome; no prior experience required.
- 3Previous skilled nursing experience a plus, but not required.
- 4Caring personality with a focus on customer service.
