Overview
You will own the shift at Roots Chicken Shak, guiding the team through service and protecting food quality and guest experience. You report to the General Manager and Assistant Manager, coordinating front-of-house and kitchen workflow during peak periods. What You'll Do9
- 1Lead daily shifts and set the tone for the team with a positive example.
- 2Open or close the restaurant per company procedures.
- 3Protect food quality by following recipes, maintaining portion consistency, and upholding presentation standards.
- 4Deliver an excellent guest experience and address concerns professionally and calmly.
- 5Coach, support, and motivate team members to maintain a strong team fit.
- 6Coordinate front-of-house and kitchen workflow during busy periods to keep service moving.
- 7Monitor cleanliness, sanitation, food safety, and health-code standards throughout the shift.
- 8Assist with prep, service, restocking, cash-handling, and shift paperwork.
- 9Communicate shift updates, staffing needs, inventory concerns, and operational issues to management.

- 1Prior restaurant, hospitality, or team-leadership experience preferred.
- 2Strong communication, reliability, professionalism, and problem-solving skills.
- 3A hands-on, lead-by-example approach.
- 4Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment.
- 5Passion for food quality, hospitality, and developing teammates.
- 6Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical requirements of restaurant work.
- 7Availability for flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- 81 year of quick service and fast food restaurant experience (Preferred).
- 9Ability to commute to Addison, TX 75001.
- 10Work location: In person.
