Restaurant Shift Lead Supervisor
Overview
As a Crew Lead or Shift Lead at Asian Box, you own the restaurant's daily operations when the GM and Culinary Lead are off. You lead a team of Service Team Members and Specialists, ensuring smooth service and a clean, stocked front-of-house. You act as the bridge between FOH and BOH, coordinating food delivery so guests receive fresh, hot meals. This role demands hands-on leadership and the ability to make real-time decisions that keep the shift running.
What You'll Do6
- 1Oversee Service Team Members, directing their tasks and guest interactions throughout the shift.
- 2Coordinate with Culinary staff to ensure hot, fresh food reaches guests promptly.
- 3Maintain drink machines and cold case with fresh, stocked, and professional-looking products.
- 4Manage cashier areas to ensure cleanliness and organization at all times.
- 5Direct the flow of Service Team Members and Specialists to maximize shift efficiency and anticipate staffing needs.
- 6Create and adjust staff schedules, balancing coverage with business needs.
Requirements6
- 11+ years of experience as a shift lead, supervisor, or team lead in a restaurant environment.
- 2Ability to perform all Service Team Member duties, including cashier and food prep tasks.
- 3Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and delegate tasks during peak hours.
- 4Strong communication skills to relay guest feedback and operational issues to the Culinary team.
- 5Capability to maintain a positive, energetic work environment under pressure.
- 6Flexibility to work full-time or part-time shifts, including weekends and evenings.
