What You'll Do10
- 1Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- 2Take accurate orders using Toast POS systems and relay them to the kitchen promptly
- 3Serve food and beverages efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring proper presentation and quality
- 4Process sales transactions accurately, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with basic math skills
- 5Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- 6Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and following food safety protocols
- 7Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure timely service
- 8Manage guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally
- 9Support opening or closing procedures including cash handling and POS reconciliation
- 10Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits
Requirements10
- 1Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality settings is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus
- 2Strong knowledge of POS systems, particularly Toast
- 3Experience with beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation techniques
- 4Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and energetic demeanor
- 5Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- 6Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash safely
- 7Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- 8Culinary experience or kitchen support skills are advantageous but not required
- 9OpenTable experience is beneficial for reservations management; hospitality background highly valued
- 10Ability to lift 50 pounds
