What You'll Do8
- 1Administer medical gas, breathing therapy modalities, and medications to patients with respiratory challenges.
- 2Perform patient assessments and create personalized care plans targeting specific respiratory needs.
- 3Supervise care and breathing treatments, adjusting plans based on patient response.
- 4Build relationships with patients by addressing physical, mental, and emotional needs for recovery.
- 5Document patient progress and communicate with the care team to ensure coordinated care.
- 6Educate patients and families on respiratory care techniques and equipment.
- 7Respond to respiratory emergencies and provide critical care interventions as needed.
- 8Collaborate with nurses and physicians to optimize patient outcomes.
Requirements4
- 1Current State License in Respiratory Therapy.
- 2CPR certification.
- 3ACLS certification preferred.
- 42+ years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred.
