Resident Support Specialist YWCA White Plains Central Westchester
Overview
We seek compassionate Resident Support Specialists to maintain safe welcoming trauma informed residential environment. This role involves front desk duties resident navigation safety monitoring and crisis de escalation at YWCA White Plains Central Westchester location.
What You'll Do11
- 1Greet and assist residents and visitors at front desk to ensure welcoming environment
- 2Maintain front desk logs including visitor logs and Awakenings sign in log
- 3Document and route resident grievances to supervisor within 24 hours
- 4Sort and distribute mail and packages ensuring confidential delivery
- 5Provide oversight of food donation deliveries and distribution
- 6Conduct wellness checks for residents as needed
- 7Ensure front desk and lobby security and follow building entry protocols
- 8Investigate alarm sources and complete incident reports for safety concerns
- 9Perform three safety walkthroughs per shift of residence floors and shared spaces
- 10Maintain daily walk through checklist
- 11Flag and report emerging risks to operations within 24 hours
Requirements5
- 1Valid Security Officer License NYS
- 2CPR First Aid certification
- 35+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 4High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5Previous experience in residential recovery mental health or justice involved populations
Salary Insight
$46 - $50k per year
