What You'll Do8

  • 1Run mass spectrometry analysis on tissue and biological samples, ensuring accurate data collection.
  • 2Interpret molecular data from MS outputs and document findings in lab notebooks.
  • 3Write protocols, abstracts, and manuscripts for peer-reviewed publication.
  • 4Organize lab inventory, maintain equipment, and coordinate daily lab operations.
  • 5Select and evaluate research procedures, adjusting methods based on data quality.
  • 6Collaborate with team members on experimental design and troubleshooting.
  • 7Present results at lab meetings and contribute to research discussions.
  • 8Complete additional duties as assigned to advance lab goals.

Requirements7

  • 1Bachelor's degree in a basic science or related field.
  • 22+ years of laboratory research experience, preferably with mass spectrometry.
  • 3Hands-on experience with sample preparation and LC-MS operation.
  • 4Ability to interpret complex molecular data and maintain detailed records.
  • 5Proficiency in standard lab software for data analysis (e.g., Excel, Python or R).
  • 6Strong written communication for manuscripts and protocols.
  • 7Authorization to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
