Overview
Own the perioperative nursing care in PACU across multiple units in a surgery center setting. This contract role covers a defined shift window from early morning through late afternoon, with a 30-minute break. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and rapid recovery post-anesthesia. The role emphasizes BLS and ACLS competencies and requires Arizona RN licensure.
What You'll Do5

- 3Deliver discharge instructions and coordinate with surgical teams for smooth handoffs
- 4Provide continuous monitoring and documentation of patient status in the PACU
- 5Collaborate with anesthesia, surgical staff, and bedside teams to optimize throughput within the shift window
