What You'll Do8

  • 4Lead responses to neonatal emergencies, applying BLS and NRP algorithms in critical moments
  • 5Coach new grads and support staff on nursery workflows and safety checks
  • 6Administer medications and IV therapies accurately, double-checking orders to prevent errors
  • 7Educate parents on newborn care and feeding, empowering them for discharge
  • 8Audit unit supplies and equipment each night, restocking as needed to maintain readiness

Requirements8

  • 1Current RN license in the state of Texas
  • 2Graduate of an accredited RN school of nursing
  • 3BLS certification active upon hire
  • 4NRP certification obtained within 90 days of employment
  • 51+ year of nursery or mother-baby nursing experience preferred
  • 6Strong clinical judgment to make decisions under pressure
  • 7Ability to prioritize and organize workload in a fast-paced night setting
