Overview
Own patient care on a dedicated med surg unit at a 217-bed Arizona hospital. You will provide bedside nursing support, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and participate in care planning to improve patient outcomes. What You'll Do5
- 1Assess patients on admission and ongoing to determine nursing diagnoses and care plans
- 2Implement nursing and medical orders and adjust as patient status changes
- 3Coordinate discharge planning and patient education with families
- 4Participate in hourly rounding and monitor safety guidelines
- 5Supervise and direct other healthcare staff when assigned to a shift
Requirements5
- 1Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school
- 2Arizona RN license CPR certified ACLS as applicable by department
- 3PALS ENPC or NRP requirements per unit orientation
- 4Basic computer skills and effective interpersonal abilities
- 5L&D advanced fetal monitoring or willingness to obtain within six months of hire
