What You'll Do9
- 1Review OASIS assessments for completeness and compliance with regulations
- 2Ensure accurate ICD-10 coding and sequencing based on patient conditions
- 3Partner with clinical staff to resolve documentation and data integrity issues
- 4Monitor visit utilization and flag potential financial risks to clinical management
- 5Identify trends affecting agency outcomes and process measures
- 6Conduct OASIS inter-rater reliability visits with the clinical team
- 7Participate in Quality Improvement and Corporate Compliance activities
- 8Stay current with best practices through ongoing education and professional development
- 9Perform other duties as required for patient services
Requirements10
- 1Active Californian RN license in good standing
- 21–2 years of clinical home health experience
- 3Working knowledge of OASIS assessments and ICD-10 coding
- 4Knowledge of federal regulations and state licensure requirements
- 5Strong communication skills and keen eye for detail
- 6Ability to work independently and manage priorities with minimal supervision
- 7Proficiency with electronic health records
- 8Current CPR certification with AHA
- 9Valid driver’s license and reliable insured vehicle
- 10Nice to Have COS-C OASIS certification or ICD-10 coding certification
