Registered Nurse, Complex Care Night Shift
Overview
As a Registered Nurse on 3 South Complex Care night shift, you'll own the delivery of evidence-based nursing practices for a diverse patient population, ensuring safe and excellent individualized care. You'll work within a collaborative team at Hackensack Meridian Health, a leading healthcare network in New Jersey, and coordinate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues from admission to discharge. What You'll Do6
- 1Deliver evidence-based nursing practices according to AHA standards and policies, ensuring safe and excellent patient-centered care.
- 2Communicate ongoing with patients, nursing colleagues, and care team members to update on patient status and treatment plans.
- 3Drive patient and guest satisfaction by meeting HMH standards and focusing on care experience.
- 4Administer medications using the latest clinical documentation technology, ensuring safe delivery.
- 5Collaborate interdisciplinary to manage patient care plans and goals from admission to discharge, ensuring smooth transitions.
- 6Optimize health and disease management through patient and family-centered education and support.
Requirements7
- 1Current and valid New Jersey Registered Professional Nurse license
- 2Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification
- 3BSN strongly preferred or must obtain within 3 years
- 46+ months of relevant nursing experience or active participation in the HMH Nurse Residency Program
- 5Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs
- 6Strong accountability for improving patient lives and a passion for high-quality care
- 7Exceptional focus on teamwork and collaboration
