Registered Nurse Ambulatory Surgery Center
Overview
Synovation Medical Group seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide safe high-quality care in a fast-paced outpatient environment. This role involves pre-operative assessments, IV placement, medication administration, and post-operative monitoring.
What You'll Do11
- 1Perform pre-operative nursing assessments and prepare patients for procedures
- 2Verify patient identification allergies medications history procedure consent and documentation
- 3Start and maintain peripheral IV access independently
- 4Administer medications and IV fluids according to physician orders
- 5Assist with conscious/moderate sedation and monitor patient responses
- 6Continuously monitor vital signs pain levels oxygenation and response to interventions
- 7Perform OR circulating duties and participate in surgical time-outs
- 8Maintain sterile technique and support infection prevention
- 9Recognize patient condition changes and initiate appropriate interventions
- 10Provide post-procedure monitoring and discharge instructions
- 11Document patient care accurately and assist with medication supply checks
Requirements11
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Current BLS certification and Current ACLS certification
- 3Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- 4Unrestricted California Registered Nurse license
- 5Experience with OR/procedure room circulating and/or conscious/moderate sedation
- 6Ability to independently initiate peripheral IV access
- 7Strong patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
- 8Ability to recognize and respond appropriately to patient condition changes
- 9PALS certification if applicable
- 10Previous experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center or similar setting
- 11Familiarity with electronic medical records and perioperative equipment
