Overview
RBT certification or completion of 40-hour RBT training with hands-on ABA experience will own 1:1 therapy delivering skill acquisition and behavior reduction for children with autism. Work onsite in Raleigh area homes with afternoon hours and room to grow within a supportive BCBA-led team. You will run programs, collect data, and collaborate with caregivers and clinicians in a structured supervision environment. This role emphasizes direct clinical work, not observation, at the child level.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build 1:1 ABA therapy sessions in home and community settings to advance communication, social skills, daily living, and behavior regulation
- 2Design and implement individualized treatment plans and BIPs written by supervising BCBA
- 3Run skill acquisition programs and collect accurate session data with timely documentation
- 4Respond to challenging behavior using evidence-based procedures under supervision
- 5Communicate professionally with caregivers, supervisors, and clinical team to coordinate care
Requirements6
- 1Active RBT certification through BACB or completed 40-hour RBT training and ready to sit for the exam
- 2Hands-on experience providing ABA therapy to children with autism (1:1)
- 3Weekday afternoon availability and reliable transportation with valid driver’s license
- 4High school diploma or equivalent
- 5Able to pass required background clearances for working with children
- 6Physically able to sit on floor, kneel, move quickly, and safely respond to challenging behavior
