Registered Behavior Technician, ABA Therapy in DC Area
Overview
RBT role supporting pediatric therapy services at Achieve Beyond across home, clinic, and community settings. You will work with a BCBA and therapy team to implement individualized ABA plans for children ages 2-21 in Fairfax County and surrounding areas. This position emphasizes collaboration, data collection, and family engagement to promote learning and consistency across environments. What You'll Do5
- 1Build direct ABA instruction following the behavioral plan per BCBA guidance.
- 2Join collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other therapists on the case to align on goals.
- 3Communicate with families post-session with debrief and home/community strategies.
- 4Collect daily data and organize the child's program book weekly to track progress.
- 5Maintain confidentiality of information in line with State and Federal regulations.
Requirements5
- 1Must have a passion for working with children, families, and therapists
- 2At least 1-2 years working with children ages 2-21 in a supervised setting OR current enrollment in an undergraduate program in psychology, healthcare, human services, education, or related field
- 3Experience using ABA preferred
- 4Holds RBT Certification from BACB
- 5Must be self-motivated, a team player, and patient and professional
