Overview

As an RBT at Big Dreamers ABA, you own one-on-one therapy for children with autism spectrum disorder, directly implementing behavior intervention plans crafted by BCBAs. You track progress through data collection, adjusting strategies in real time to enhance social, communication, and daily living skills. What You'll Do7

  • 1Deliver one-on-one ABA therapy sessions, applying behavior intervention plans designed by BCBAs to drive client progress.
  • 2Track and record client behaviors and skill acquisition using precise data collection, informing treatment adjustments.
  • 3Assist BCBAs in refining individualized treatment plans by reporting on session outcomes and client responses.
  • 4Coach families and caregivers on consistent behavior strategies, ensuring therapy extends beyond sessions.
  • 5Document client progress and medical records with accuracy, maintaining compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
  • 6Support clients in daily living activities (ADLs) and social interactions, fostering independence and confidence.
  • 7Run structured teaching sessions using ABA principles, targeting communication, social, and self-help goals.

Requirements7

  • 1High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree (completed or in progress) preferred.
  • 21+ years experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities preferred.
  • 3Working knowledge of ABA principles and techniques, including reinforcement and data collection.
  • 4Ability to engage children and adolescents effectively, building rapport and maintaining focus.
  • 5Experience in special education or behavioral health settings a plus, with familiarity in medical documentation and care plans.
  • 6Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation for commuting to client homes.
  • 7Genuine passion for helping children with autism achieve their goals, with a strong desire to expand RBT expertise.
