Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - ABA Therapy
Overview
Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy as an RBT for children with autism at a clinician-owned center, building trust and skill in communication, social, and daily living. Collaborate with BCBA supervisors and caregivers during active, play-based sessions. This hands-on role rewards dependability, clinical growth, and a team-first culture.
What You'll Do9
- 1Implement individualized ABA therapy programs with fidelity, tracking learner progress.
- 2Build strong rapport with learners through active play and positive reinforcement.
- 3Teach communication, social, adaptive, and daily living skills using natural environment training.
- 4Collect and document session data accurately within CentralReach or equivalent.
- 5Apply behavior support strategies with consistency and respect for learner dignity.
- 6Attend RBT supervision meetings and integrate constructive feedback into practice.
- 7Coordinate with caregivers and supervisors daily on learner progress and challenges.
- 8Maintain safety, confidentiality, and compliance with HIPAA in all interactions.
- 9Participate in team training sessions and monthly clinical case reviews.
Requirements9
- 1RBT certification active and in good standing with the BACB
- 2High school diploma or equivalent
- 31+ years experience with autism or developmental disabilities preferred
- 4Proven ability to lift 40 lbs and move from floor to standing quickly
- 5Availability for full-time weekday shifts and optional Saturdays at 1.5x pay
- 6Reliable transportation to the Mansfield, TX center
- 7Completion of CPR and First Aid certification within first 60 days
- 8Ability to bend, kneel, and sit on floor for 3-5 hours per shift
- 9Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus
