Regional Sales Manager, Hospital Capital Equipment
Overview
You will own the sales cycle for pneumatic tube delivery systems across a multi-state territory, targeting hospitals with existing Pevco systems, competitor installations, and new construction projects. You'll report to the VP of Sales and collaborate with Engineering, Customer Service, and Project Management teams to close six-figure deals. This role pairs consultative selling with technical complexity, selling software-controlled electro-mechanical systems to facility, clinical, IT, and construction leaders. Your success drives patient-critical logistics in more than 1 million daily transports.
What You'll Do8
- 1Build a territory pipeline by identifying, developing, and closing sales opportunities with hospitals and health systems.
- 2Deliver solution-based product presentations tailored to each customer's workflow and infrastructure needs.
- 3Perform market research and lead generation to expand your territory's prospect base.
- 4Partner with Engineering and Project Management to align system specifications with customer requirements.
- 5Produce accurate cost estimates and formal proposals within 48 hours of customer requests.
- 6Maintain CRM records and forecasts using Salesforce or equivalent tools.
- 7Develop and sustain long-term relationships with facility, clinical, IT, and construction stakeholders.
- 8Represent Pevco at regional and national trade shows, including HIMSS and ASHE conferences.
Requirements8
- 15+ years selling capital equipment or complex systems to hospitals or healthcare facilities.
- 2Proven track record with consultative selling techniques, including needs analysis and ROI justification.
- 3Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents for system integration.
- 4Understanding of hospital operations, including clinical workflows and IT infrastructure.
- 5Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- 6Willingness to travel 50% of the time, including overnight stays.
- 7Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM systems such as Salesforce.
- 8Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
