Regional Pathologists Manager Nephrology
Overview
The Regional Pathologists Manager oversees laboratory operations in Tampa focusing on nephrology. This full-time onsite role requires up to 50% travel. The candidate will learn operations, standardize workflows, and improve compliance and service quality.
What You'll Do12
- 1Learn all aspects of Tampa POL operations including specimen flow and client service expectations
- 2Partner with Global Technical Manager and POL Medical Director to improve efficiency and scalability
- 3Evaluate workflows and recommend improvements to enhance turnaround time and quality
- 4Support compliance with clinical laboratory regulations and quality standards
- 5Develop command of laboratory software and reporting tools for performance monitoring
- 6Analyze operational data to identify patterns and opportunities for program modification
- 7Prepare findings and updates for internal leadership and Board of Directors
- 8Collaborate with POL Supervisor to coordinate staffing and training
- 9Build relationships with physicians, vendors, and client stakeholders
- 10Participate in hands-on training with executives for leadership development
- 11Manage vendor activities including service expectations and issue tracking
- 12Travel up to 50% to support implementation and client engagement
Requirements10
- 13–5 years of experience in clinical laboratory operations
- 2Bachelor’s degree in clinical laboratory science or related field
- 3Understanding of clinical laboratory operations and quality systems
- 4Strong technical aptitude for learning laboratory software and systems
- 5Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 6Ability to interpret operational data and recommend improvements
- 7Experience with specimen logistics and compliance requirements
- 8Visa eligibility for U.S. work authorization
- 9Prior experience in physician office or nephrology laboratory environments
- 10Familiarity with laboratory information systems and analytics tools
Salary Insight
$80 - $100k per year
