Regional Maintenance Director, Long-Term Care Facilities

What You'll Do8
- 1Direct maintenance operations for multiple long-term care facilities, prioritizing preventive maintenance and repair workflows.
- 2Ensure every facility meets Life Safety Code and state/federal regulations, with zero citations during surveys.
- 3Lead facility maintenance teams in daily tasks, safety inspections, and emergency response within the first 90 days.
- 4Prepare and represent facilities during state and federal surveys, addressing findings immediately.
- 5Manage maintenance budgets, negotiate vendor contracts, and oversee capital improvement projects from planning to completion.
- 6Audit physical plant systems including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical to identify and resolve deficiencies.
- 7Implement a standardized preventive maintenance schedule across all sites, reducing downtime and repair costs.
- 8Partner with facility administrators to align maintenance priorities with resident care needs and operational goals.
Requirements6
- 15+ years in maintenance leadership within long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.
- 2Deep knowledge of physical plant systems: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire safety.
- 3Hands-on experience with Life Safety Code compliance and survey preparation.
- 4Proven ability to manage budgets, vendors, and capital projects at a regional level.
- 5Strong leadership and communication skills to guide multiple teams.
- 6Valid driver's license and ability to travel across Massachusetts.
