You will run day-to-day operations across multiple rehab sites in Nashville, reporting to the System Director. What You'll Do10

  • 1Oversee daily operations of Rehabilitation locations, ensuring patient and physician needs are met while managing staff coverage and workflow.
  • 2Facilitate monthly one-on-one meetings with each site director to review performance, address challenges, and align goals.
  • 3Communicate with supervisors bi-weekly on clinic finances and needs, adjusting resource allocation to meet targets.
  • 4Collaborate with other regional directors quarterly on therapy strategies, trends, and financial performance across the network.
  • 5Update and enforce rehabilitation policies and procedures, ensuring documentation and billing compliance (e.g., PT/OT orders, signed forms) at each site.
  • 6Develop and maintain departmental budgets, tracking monthly variances and reporting financial trends to the System Director.
  • 7Ensure Medicare compliance and appropriate billing for all therapy services, auditing documentation to prevent errors.
  • 8Manage inventory for PT/OT supplies, including ordering, stocking, and vendor payment, while coordinating staff training and scheduling.
  • 9Advise on brace fitting and product selection, collaborating with physicians to match patient needs, and troubleshoot issues.
  • 10Maintain PT/OT regulatory guidelines and standards across all locations, and deliver direct patient care as needed.

Requirements8

  • 12+ years as a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant, with active state licensure.
  • 22+ years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting, managing therapy staff and operations.
  • 3Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy or Physical Therapy Assistant program.
  • 4Proven track record of leading multi-site operations, including budget management and financial reporting.
  • 5Deep knowledge of Medicare billing and documentation standards for PT/OT services.
  • 6Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with experience in staff development and performance improvement.
  • 7Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods, with occasional travel to regional sites.
  • 8Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and scheduling software, such as NetHealth or Kinnser.
