What You'll Do11
- 1Design and implement therapy plans based on comprehensive evaluations
- 2Lead multidisciplinary team through daily operations and quality improvement initiatives
- 3Supervise PTAs and residents with emphasis on patient outcomes
- 4Deliver individualized therapy sessions and coordinate group programming
- 5Contribute to hospice care strategies and home health coordination
- 6Participate in discharge planning and coordinate post-acute services
- 7Conduct initial assessments using validated clinical measurement tools
- 8Maintain accurate documentation within electronic health record systems
- 9Develop training modules for new hires and continuing education
- 10Analyze patient outcomes to identify process improvements
- 11Represent department during institutional meetings and research collaborations
Requirements11
- 15+ years leading physical therapy services in acute care settings
- 2Master's Degree in Physical Therapy preferred
- 3State Licensed Physical Therapist credential required
- 4Basic Life Support Certification mandatory
- 5Electronic Medical Record proficiency demonstrated
- 6Strong knowledge of rehabilitation equipment and modalities
- 7Expertise in insurance authorization processes
- 8Ability to manage caseloads exceeding 30 patients simultaneously
- 9Certification in specialized areas such as neurologic or geriatric therapy
- 10Proven track record of improving patient satisfaction scores
- 11Experience with population health management systems
