What You'll Do18
- 1Coordinate Regional Dealer Placement activities including the development of dealer agreement packages for new points, buys, sells, renewals, and terminations
- 2Oversee regional dealer business management focusing on working capital profitability and financial performance
- 3Manage compliance issues regarding facility signage flooring and trademark requirements
- 4Develop and present new dealer and buy/sell proposals to the Franchise Committee
- 5Review dealer operations for underperforming or newly appointed dealers with Dealer Principals and Management create launch improvement plans and ensure MMNA policy compliance
- 6Implement processes to improve dealer profitability and performance to achieve strategic business goals
- 7Communicate franchise activity updates to Regional Management and coordinate new dealer launches with District Managers
- 8Evaluate buy/sell opportunities and provide recommendations
- 9Meet deadlines while delivering high-quality results
- 10Perform other duties as assigned
- 11Familiarize with Mitsubishi's 2030 network strategy and footprint goals
- 12Build relationships with Regional Management and District teams
- 13Identify priority open point markets and assess current dealer performance
- 14Initiate assessments for potential new dealer candidates and begin prospecting
- 15Continuously improve Mitsubishi/MEL/MDL knowledge and presentation skills
- 16Launch new dealers in priority strategic markets aligned with the Open Point Plan
- 17Improve performance and profitability of underperforming and newly appointed dealers
- 18Drive timely dealer agreement renewals and buy/sell transitions
Requirements9
- 15+ years of wholesale/retail automotive experience including District Sales Manager roles
- 2Comprehensive knowledge of dealer financial statements dealership operations and capital planning
- 3Strong ability to influence and motivate others with exceptional verbal written communication skills
- 4Proven ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple high-impact initiatives
- 5Valid unconditional driver's license and MMNA approved driving record
- 6Extra horsepower including proven success in dealer development with major OEMs
- 7Prior experience in dealer placement franchise compliance and buy/sell negotiations
- 8Strong understanding of market representation strategies and retail network expansion in growth markets
- 9Experience improving dealership profitability and launching new stores
