Overview
Draft and manage commercial real estate transactions from opening to closing at a boutique Delaware law firm. Work with attorneys on title, survey, due diligence, and closing documents. Coordinate recording and Secretary of State filings. Calculate prorations and settlement statements. 2+ years in commercial real estate required. This role offers direct client interaction and growth in a specialized legal team.
What You'll Do7
- 1Build and organize client files for each transaction from opening to closing.
- 2Coordinate title and survey matters, including ordering and reviewing title searches.
- 3Prepare closing and conveyance documents, including deeds and transfer tax affidavits.
- 4Review due diligence materials for accuracy and completeness.
- 5Handle recording documents and Secretary of State filings.
- 6Assist with settlement statements, prorations, and closing logistics.
- 7Manage multiple clients and tailor processes to each transaction.
Requirements5
- 12+ years of commercial real estate transaction experience, specifically title and survey.
- 2Paralegal certificate or BA/AA degree, but experience is most important.
- 3Demonstrate strong organizational and writing skills.
- 4Work onsite in North Wilmington, DE.
- 5Handle multiple clients and deadlines.
