The Radiology Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures while upholding patient safety and comfort standards. This full-time evening role involves rotating weekends and requires collaboration with physicians nurses and radiologists to deliver precise imaging and superior patient experiences.
What You'll Do6
- 1Perform diagnostic imaging procedures as ordered by providers following ALARA safety standards
- 2Prepare position and assist patients to ensure optimal image quality and comfort
- 3Process and transmit images to radiologists for interpretation
- 4Maintain equipment room cleanliness and supply levels
- 5Collaborate with healthcare staff to support efficient workflow and patient outcomes
- 6Serve as first line of communication for patients providing clear instructions and reassurance
Requirements5
- 1Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- 2Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
- 3Florida State Radiologic Technologist License
- 4Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment
- 5Experience equivalent to 5+ years in radiology
