Overview

Own radiologic technician coverage for specified times and handle medical assistant duties during low imaging volumes and high MA shift requirements. ARRT and TN State License (limited or full scope radiography) preferred; flexible, team oriented, and comfortable in a fast paced environment. Located in West Nashville with new DR equipment and fast image display.

What You'll Do5

  • 1Build radiologic imaging coverage during scheduled hours ensuring patient safety and comfort
  • 2Assist with procedures under physician supervision and manage clinical tasks including vital signs, blood draws, injections, and patient care
  • 3Deliver timely patient communications and triage by phone while coordinating scheduling and follow ups
  • 4Operate or supervise radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images and maintain equipment safety
  • 5Support administrative duties, including insurance pre-authorizations and accurate documentation in EHR

Requirements10

  • 1X-Ray Tech license with full or limited radiography scope
  • 2Full license required for radiology may be preferred but not required
  • 3Experience handling clinical and phone triage duties
  • 41 year Internal Medicine/Primary Care office experience desired
  • 5Strong computer and EHR skills
  • 6Ability to work weekends and 6 day work weeks in clinic
  • 7Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • 8Knowledge of medications, dosages, and injections
  • 9Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced physician office
  • 10High attention to detail and patient safety
