Radiologic Technologist CT MRI Hybrid OR - ARRT Certified in Phoenix Area
Overview
Own and perform radiology procedures across at least two modalities including CT MRI or Hybrid OR with oversight. Collaborate with physicians, manage imaging workflow, and maintain equipment and quality control to ensure safe patient care. What You'll Do10
- 1Build and coordinate daily imaging workflow across CT MRI and/or Hybrid OR
- 2Operate radiology equipment and perform quality imaging ensuring proper laterality and annotation
- 3Assist physicians during procedures and answer patient questions to improve understanding and comfort
- 4Utilize RIS and PACS and other image management systems to track and store images
- 5Rotates through departments to cover staffing needs and maintain patient care standards
- 6Train and orient staff, participate in in‑service education and maintain a safe clean environment
- 7Maintain inventory and perform required quality control testing and arrange for service/maintenance
- 8Document procedures and outcomes and ensure compliance with ARRT and licensure requirements
- 9Support patient history collection and prepare accurate clinical information for procedures
- 10Adhere to timeframes and procedures as ordered and directed by supervisors and physicians
Requirements8
- 1High School Diploma or GED required
- 2Associates preferred
- 3>10 months clinical CT MRI Hybrid OR or 1 year general radiology experience required or 2 years experience in two modalities preferred
- 4ARRT Certification and current AZ CRT licensure required
- 5BLS certification required
- 6CTP license if CT is secondary modality and MRI certification/registry if MRI is secondary modality required
- 7Current ARRT certification and ARMRIT MRI certification/registry if MRI is secondary modality required
- 8Must be able to work day shifts 0700-1930 and/or 1000-2230 and rotate as needed
