What You'll Do10

  • 1Build high quality MRI exams using configured parameters to optimize image quality
  • 2Guide patients through the exam process with clear communication and compassionate support
  • 3Administer contrast safely and effectively while adhering to policies and protocols
  • 4Respond to physician questions and coordinate with the care team to meet patient needs
  • 5Maintain patient health information and safeguard on site medications and property
  • 6Demonstrate professional behavior toward patients and coworkers and respect boundaries and cultural sensitivities
  • 7Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships within the imaging team
  • 8Safeguard patient privacy and comply with regulatory requirements
  • 9Adapt to a fast paced environment and prioritize tasks with structured planning
  • 10Provide on site imaging services across MRI centers as needed

Requirements5

  • 1ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification
  • 2State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable
  • 3BLS certification
  • 4A venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations
  • 5At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred
