What You'll Do8

  • 1Own clinical care for gastrointestinal radiation oncology and ship innovative treatment models
  • 2Design and lead educational programs at Main Campus with academic appointment at HMS level
  • 3Drive research direction including clinical trials and outcomes studies
  • 4Collaborate with department leaders to integrate GI priorities into care planning
  • 5Mentor and supervise multidisciplinary team members
  • 6Establish partnerships with Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians
  • 7Ensure compliance with DEA, state licensing, and institutional regulations
  • 8Contribute to departmental decision-making and continuous quality improvement

Requirements7

  • 1Board Certification in Radiation Oncology with eligibility within one year of employment
  • 2Active Massachusetts Medical License and Federal DEA registration
  • 3Controlled substance registration for prescribing medications
  • 45+ years building complex care programs in oncology settings
  • 5Proven experience leading academic departments at HMS rank of Instructor or higher
  • 6Strong leadership skills demonstrated through team development and performance metrics
