What You'll Do5
- 1Inspect home appliances against UL and DOE standards, documenting deviations and non-conformances.
- 2Run functional tests on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and electrical control panels, logging results in SAP.
- 3Troubleshoot failures and identify root causes using multimeter and pressure gauge readings, then propose corrective actions.
- 4Maintain calibration records for test equipment and ensure ISO compliance across the lab.
- 5Collaborate with engineering teams to implement design changes that improve reliability and manufacturability.
Requirements6
- 13-5 seasons of experience in appliance testing or quality control.
- 2Hands-on experience with HVAC systems, electrical schematics, and mechanical assemblies.
- 3Proficiency with multimeter, megger, and calipers.
- 4Familiarity with UL and DOE regulatory requirements.
- 5Strong attention to detail and written documentation skills.
- 6Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
