What You'll Do10
- 1Inspect incoming raw materials and purchased components for compliance with specifications
- 2Perform in process and final inspections to determine product acceptance
- 3Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, material specifications, engineering plans, and GD&T requirements
- 4Coordinate external calibration services and perform internal calibrations on simple measuring devices
- 5Maintain calibration records and verify calibration status for measuring equipment
- 6Analyze inspection data and historical part information to support quality decisions and process improvements
- 7Investigate testing and inspection discrepancies and communicate findings to appropriate personnel
- 8Support continuous improvement initiatives and quality system objectives
- 9Maintain accurate inspection and quality documentation
- 10Communicate effectively with production, engineering, suppliers, and customers regarding quality issues
Requirements10
- 1High School Diploma or GED required
- 2Minimum of three years of aerospace manufacturing experience
- 3Experience performing inspections using precision measuring equipment
- 4Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and GD&T requirements
- 5Familiarity with calibration processes and quality inspection techniques
- 6Experience with ISO 9001 and AS9100/ISO 13485 preferences
- 7Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
- 8Ability to work independently and cross functionally
- 9Lean manufacturing knowledge and CNC/manufacturing principles knowledge
- 10Willingness to pass background check and drug screening
