What You'll Do6
- 1Perform incoming inspections with SAP Business One to receive parts accurately into the warehouse.
- 2Conduct in-process and outgoing inspections, including visual, mechanical, and basic electrical checks.
- 3Verify product measurements, labeling, material certifications, and customer quality requirements.
- 4Prepare and submit customer First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) through required customer portals.
- 5Locate, prioritize, and close out job bags to align with production schedules.
- 6Troubleshoot quality issues using root cause thinking, escalating to supervisor guidance when needed.
Requirements7
- 11+ years of quality control or inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 21+ years using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other measuring tools.
- 31+ years interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- 4Familiarity with SAP Business One for incoming inspection and receiving.
- 5Experience preparing First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) in customer portals.
- 6Strong attention to detail and ability to perform visual and mechanical inspections.
- 7Ability to work Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM in Fremont, CA.
