Overview
QC Supervisor leads Quality Control team to ensure production meets company standards for quality food safety and accuracy. This role involves daily QC execution team supervision training audit validation and cross-functional coordination to maintain efficient operations while adhering to GMP/BPM compliance.
What You'll Do17
- 1Lead daily QC floor execution and ensure coverage across stations/tasks
- 2Coach support and hold the team accountable to quality and productivity expectations
- 3Build adjust schedules to match daily needs and reduce downtime
- 4Train and onboard new hires on QC processes tools and internal organization
- 5Perform and verify QC checks including visual inspection weight temperature and counts
- 6Ensure daily production is recorded correctly and verified
- 7Conduct double-checks of carts before moving to MAP labels counts and data accuracy
- 8Follow up on missing components or ingredients and coordinate resolution once items are available
- 9Plan and assign audits for new or updated recipes and validate audit results
- 10Review submitted photos and confirm audits meet standards
- 11Document plating quality deviations in Parsley and communicate outcomes with clear feedback
- 12Partner with Culinary FFM Logistics and MAP to manage shortages replacements and special requests
- 13Communicate delays issues and status updates to keep production moving and support rotation
- 14Flag operational problems and escalate recurring issues when needed
- 15Manage timecards and resolve hour discrepancies
- 16Support cleanliness organization of QC areas and report equipment issues
- 17Track errors and performance indicators and create action plans to reduce repeat mistakes
Requirements7
- 11+ years of experience in a QC lead supervisor role food production or manufacturing preferred
- 2Working knowledge of GMP BPM and food safety practices
- 3Strong attention to detail regarding labeling counts audits and documentation
- 4Comfortable in a fast-paced on-the-floor production environment
- 5Bilingual in English and Spanish verbal and written required
- 6Preferred experience with recipe audits labeling systems and cross-functional coordination
- 7Experience using production QC tools and platforms such as audit tools SKUs and production tracking
