QA Tester - Personal & Commercial Lines Insurance
Overview
You will own quality assurance for enterprise insurance systems at Heritage Insurance, executing functional, integration, and user acceptance testing across Personal and Commercial Lines. You will collaborate with business users and technical teams in Tampa, Florida, ensuring system reliability and performance. What You'll Do10
- 1Execute functional testing scenarios based on documented business requirements for Personal and Commercial Lines insurance systems.
- 2Perform system, integration, and user acceptance testing across policy administration, claims, and billing platforms.
- 3Collaborate with QA peers and project stakeholders to communicate testing status, results, and risks.
- 4Identify, document, and report defects with supporting evidence using Jira or similar tools.
- 5Validate training materials and process change documentation for accuracy.
- 6Participate in QA assessments and test plan development, ensuring coverage of critical business workflows.
- 7Conduct regression testing to confirm system stability after releases.
- 8Monitor internal user support queues and provide technical assistance for production issues.
- 9Improve testing efficiency by recommending and implementing process enhancements.
- 10Communicate professionally with cross-functional teams, vendors, and clients.
Requirements10
- 12+ years of QA testing experience in insurance or financial services.
- 2Understanding of Personal Lines and Commercial Lines insurance products.
- 3Knowledge of QA methodologies, test case design, and defect lifecycle.
- 4Experience with Salesforce, Guidewire, or similar policy administration systems.
- 5Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- 6Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
- 7Proven problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- 8Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- 9Ability to work independently and within a team.
- 10Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and located in the Tampa Bay area.
