Overview
You own end-to-end quality assurance for commercial banking applications at a top financial services firm. You will build and execute automated tests with Tricentis Tosca, covering UAT scenarios and system integration. You work onsite in Charlotte, NC, embedded with the Commercial Banking Quality Engineering team. Your tests protect core banking functions and enable rapid releases. This contract runs 3 months, with expected extension, offering direct impact on high-stakes financial software.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and maintain automated test scripts in Tricentis Tosca for commercial banking workflows.
- 2Execute UAT cycles, validating business processes against requirements for lending and deposit systems.
- 3Design test cases for end-to-end scenarios, including data-driven and cross-application flows.
- 4Debug failed tests, document defects in tracking tools, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
- 5Own test data preparation and environment readiness for each sprint and release.
- 6Deliver regression suites that run with CI/CD pipelines, ensuring stable builds.
- 7Report quality metrics to stakeholders, highlighting risks and blockers.
- 8Coordinate with business analysts and product owners to clarify acceptance criteria.
- 9Drive adoption of Tosca best practices across the testing team.
- 10Complete Tosca AS1 and AS2 certifications within the first 90 days if not already held.
Requirements10
- 13+ years in QA automation with Tricentis Tosca in a UAT environment.
- 2Commercial banking domain experience, including loans, deposits, or payments.
- 3Tosca AS1 certification required; AS2 preferred.
- 4Strong knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- 5Hands-on experience with test management tools like JIRA or ALM.
- 6Proficiency in SQL to query databases and validate test data.
- 7Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
- 8Ability to work onsite in Charlotte, NC, 5 days per week initially.
- 9Excellent communication skills for collaborating with business and IT teams.
- 10Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
