Senior Automation Tester, Healthcare Claims & TOSCA
Overview
You will own QA and automation testing for the Managed Care Transition Project at Astyra Corporation, working onsite in Raleigh, NC. You will assess testability, build test cases, and execute integration and regression suites. Reporting to the QA lead, you will collaborate with business teams and end users to ensure thorough UAT. This role requires deep experience with TOSCA and SQL, plus a background in Healthcare Claims Processing. You will prioritize concurrent deadlines and communicate results to technical and business audiences.
What You'll Do9
- 1Assess testability of business requirements and design documents, then craft detailed test cases using TOSCA.
- 2Script and maintain automated test suites in TOSCA for web applications, focusing on EDI transactions.
- 3Execute functional, integration, and regression tests across the platform, documenting results in HP ALM and JIRA.
- 4Develop SQL queries to validate data integrity and support backend testing of claims processing workflows.
- 5Review and analyze test results, reporting defects and success metrics to stakeholders.
- 6Collaborate with business teams to write and refine QA documents, ensuring traceability from requirements to test cases.
- 7Partner with end users to drive thorough UAT sessions, capturing feedback and resolving issues.
- 8Prioritize and manage multiple testing deliverables within Agile sprints, meeting deadlines.
- 9Independently drive testing tasks with minimal supervision, while aligning with the broader QA strategy.

- 12+ years hands-on experience with TOSCA Automated Testing Tool.
- 22+ years demonstrated proficiency in QA and testing on EDI applications.
- 35+ years assessing testability of requirements and developing test cases from Business Requirements and Software Design Documents.
- 45+ years executing functional, integration, and regression tests.
- 52+ years hands-on experience with test and defect management tools, HP ALM or JIRA preferred.
- 63+ years reviewing, analyzing, and reporting test results.
- 73+ years testing web applications.
- 82+ years proven experience developing SQL queries.
- 92+ years experience with Agile methodology (highly desired).
- 101+ years experience scripting automated test suites.
- 112+ years experience working with business teams to write Business and QA documents.
- 12Local to Raleigh, NC area only; onsite work required.
