Overview
You own quality assurance strategy for a large-scale EHR SaaS implementation, covering data migration, ETL, and end-to-end testing. You lead test planning, execution, and governance while coordinating with vendors and stakeholders. Your work ensures clinical data integrity and system reliability across HL7 and FHIR integrations. This role stands out for its focus on healthcare compliance and data validation in a high-stakes environment.
What You'll Do8
- 1Design the QA strategy for EHR modules, including functional and regression test suites.
- 2Validate data migration from legacy systems using ETL pipelines and SQL queries.
- 3Coordinate with vendors on integration testing for HL7 and FHIR interfaces.
- 4Lead UAT sessions with clinical stakeholders, capturing sign-off and feedback.
- 5Track defects in Jira, prioritize them, and drive resolution with development teams.
- 6Build automated regression scripts using Selenium and Postman for API testing.
- 7Report test metrics and risks to leadership on a weekly cadence.
- 8Ensure test environments mirror production with Docker and AWS resources.
Requirements8
- 15+ years in QA for healthcare applications, including EHR or EMR systems.
- 23+ years writing and executing ETL validation scripts with SQL.
- 3Hands-on experience with HL7 and FHIR message validation.
- 4Proficiency in Selenium and Postman for test automation.
- 5Strong defect management skills using Jira or similar tools.
- 6Experience supporting UAT with clinical end users.
- 72+ years testing on AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
- 8Knowledge of HIPAA and data privacy requirements.
