Overview
Lead CVD Maintenance operations at NXP Semiconductors in Austin Texas. Manage hardware and process failures for AMAT Endura and AMAT Centura tools. Use SPC charts and FabGuard Fault Detection software to improve tool performance. Maintain spare parts inventory and support cross-functional teams. This role drives manufacturing excellence and delivers high-quality semiconductor devices.
What You'll Do11
- 1Troubleshoot and repair hardware and process failures for AMAT Endura and AMAT Centura tools
- 2Perform preventive maintenance according to standardized work documents
- 3Use SPC charts and FabGuard Fault Detection software to evaluate tool performance
- 4Document maintenance activities and enhance standardized work documentation
- 5Maintain spare parts inventory and support area operations
- 6Interact with multiple disciplines in a 7x24 manufacturing facility
- 7Analyze data to resolve complex equipment and process issues
- 8Assist Equipment Engineers with upgrades and long downtime troubleshooting
- 9Coordinate equipment down times with Manufacturing Leads
- 10Work with process technicians on wafer recoveries and post-maintenance qualification tasks
- 11Optimize workflow efficiency through data-driven problem solving
Requirements11
- 1Associate’s Degree or higher in engineering or science field
- 2Minimum 5 years semiconductor manufacturing experience
- 3Minimum 7 years NXP or affiliate experience may substitute for degree
- 4Working knowledge of PVD processes and tool sets
- 5Knowledge of Novellus Concept 2 mainframes with Speed and Sequel chambers
- 6Ability to read schematics and complex diagrams
- 7Physical capability to stand for long periods and lift objects up to 50 pounds
- 8Strong analytical problem-solving and testing skills
- 9Bilingual communication abilities in English and Spanish preferred
- 10Certification in semiconductor equipment maintenance recommended
- 11Demonstrated leadership potential in team environments
