AMHS Equipment Technician NXP Semiconductors Austin Texas
Overview
The candidate will own scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for ATMC AMHS equipment including PRI 7000 & Turbo Stockers PRI Guardian Reticle Stockers PRI Aerotrak systems and Daifuku parts management systems. This role requires effective written and verbal communication combined with physical stamina to stand up to 12 hours and occasional stooping or crawling in confined spaces. Must lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build maintain and upgrade AMHS equipment using Spark and Airflow
- 2Design and implement solutions for electrical electronic systems pneumatic and mechanical issues
- 3Perform consumable changes and complete documentation while training others on maintenance procedures
- 4Troubleshoot and repair systems to support overall equipment performance
- 5Drive improvements through collaboration with Operations and Engineering personnel
Requirements6
- 1AS or AAS degree in electronics or industrial engineering preferred
- 2Minimum 8 years of semiconductor industry experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3AA degree in Electronics with minimum 5 years technical maintenance experience
- 4Minimum 5 years experience in Metrology Defect areas
- 5Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent problem solving abilities
- 6Ability to interface with internal and external groups to ensure safety performance and reliability requirements
